Don't just sit there, do something!

As daunting as the task of ridding Central Texas of pesky invasive species may seem, there are a multitude of ways to get involved:

-Sign the Petition! Sign a petition to express your support for the EcoTexas cause.
-Come to a Workday! Come to one of our many workdays at local parks and preserves. The work begins bright and early at 8:30 AM to avoid the Summer heat and concludes no later than 11:00 AM. Water and tools will be provided. Look under the Upcoming Events on the home page for workdays.
-Plant Natives! Plant as many native species on your own property as possible. In many cases, the sole reason invasive species are present in parks and preserves is due to people planting invasives in their yard whose seeds are then spread around by wind, water, etc.
-Tell your Friends! Raise awareness about the EcoTexas cause by telling your friends about how invasive species damage local ecosystems and why we need to do something to help.
